I'll start of by saying I should probably be sleeping right now, considering I have to be up by 5:00AM tomorrow and it's now 1:32AM.
It's been almost a year since I last worked a full time job. Thanks to a friend, I landed a short term gig with Performance PLUS, demonstrating Nespresso's new line of Coffee Machines called VertuøLine, a hybrid, making both Espresso and Coffee. It's technology is awesome, reading the bar-codes imprinted on each capsule, to ensure each cup is a perfect cup using Centrifusion technology and its one button touch to start. I demonstrated this product in both Copley Place and also in Dewey Square. Both events were quite a success. I am now due to demonstrate the same product in the morning at the Liberty Hotel to a different clientele. This should be interesting. I am both excited and nervous and yet looking forward to it.
This past few days I spent it in Virginia Beach with a friend, while he attended a convention. Initially, I thought I'd have a lot of time to sort out my life, things I might like to do, or want to do. Put things in perspective and organized the chaotic parts of me. This I thought I'd have the time to do while he was doing his thing and I'd had nothing to do while he was gone. Needless to say, life doesn't always happen the way you want or planned. Instead of staying in the hotel, which I could have done too, I chose to attend the convention as well. There goes the mini-vacation... lol
It's interesting how your thoughts and process also changes as things happen. I've learned some powerful things, met some very intelligent and interesting people. I've learned that people are genuinely nice and you gravitate towards like-minded folks. It was definitely happy times had by all. Stories were shared, among businesses and tricks of the trade. I don't think this will be a path for me but it doesn't mean I can't take what was shared and applied in personal life.
I thought I had more time and that weather would have been nice and I could have spent it at the beach. That didn't happen either. What did happen was a very nice long walk, on a day when there wasn't much going on. The weather was still chilly and the water was called, so we opted for a walk on the boardwalk, from 43rd St all the way to 5th. While walking, conversations were made and old times reminisced. On our way back, we walked the Atlantic. So many shops, so many things to do and places to eat. It reminded me of Hampton Beach in NH for the most part, as well as other touristy sites. The walk both ways took almost 3 hours. Yea, we were slow walkers but more or less just a leisurely stroll.
Friday and Saturday were packed, from convention to dinner to party and after party. This girl here who doesn't really drink sure drank quite a bit. Without going into too much details, I felt bad that Friday night/Saturday morning. I know it wasn't my fault but I could have been more forceful or perhaps more persuasive and perhaps the incident wouldn't have happened. I hope that things turn out ok.
So it's now 1:50AM and I must get in bed else I'll be a walking zombie. I will really try to make a better effort on using this, putting my thoughts down, experiences had and shared. Someone should light a fire under my butt to make this happen sometimes.
Until the next post, happy readings and good night.

It appears that I haven't written for almost two year and those two posts don't even count. I really need to make an effort to write more, jut down my thoughts... I NEED MOTIVATION!!!!

Successful Journey Begings here...
I went to a Regional Conference with a friend this weekend in Springfield, MA. Met many other like-minded individuals who became successful after starting their own business online, as well as self-starters like myself. There was much to be learned, and must still to learn. There are so many things to consider but I think, I am taking the right step to securing a better future for me and my family.
